In spite of facing some
production issues with the HTC One, the Taiwanese manufacturer has not been bogged
down at all. In fact, HTC has got some a lot of feasible strategies and it is
going to launch a few high end devices over the next few months.
HTC Butterfly S
features 1080p HD display, and includes Corning’s Gorilla Glass 2 to resist
excessive scratches. It will be loaded with Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 1.9 GHz
mobile processor. The real power and high performance for Butterfly S will come
from 2 GB RAM and Adreno 320 graphics chip. There will be storage of 11 GB and
you can expand it to 64GB with the help of micro SD card. HTC has also added
non removable battery of 3500 mAh in it.
This will allow Butterfly S to run for longer. The device comes with Android 4.1
Jelly Bean.
The most
remarkable change can be observed in camera, which comes with UltraPixel camera
technology. Also, the device comes with HTC Sense 5.0 User Interface with great
inclusions such as HTC Zoe and BlinkFeed. Butterfly S will boast about some
common connectivity features such as NFC, 100Mbps DL, 50 MBPS UL, Cat3, 4G via
LTE, 3G via HSPA+, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with hotspot and
Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP.
Along with Butterfly S, the
other smartphones next in line are the mini version of HTC One, also known as
HTC M4. This device is set to create significant rivalry to Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini
and it may release during mid-July. HTC Butterfly S price in India should be around Rs 43,000 considering the high-end hardware it comes with.
Also, according to sources,
HTC is also all set to add red and blue variants to the One. Both blue and red
models will be available in China very soon, however there is no confirmation
on when these versions will be released in India.
