Today, Lava is recognized as one of the best local smartphone
brands in India. It has recently released its latest device, the Xolo Play
T1000 with a unique set of functionality and features. It is the 2nd generation smartphone under the Xolo
series. Lava
has launched this beautiful piece just a few days ago and it will be available
for purchase in market very soon. The phone will be available on both retail
and online stores by the start of next month.
The Xolo Play T1000 features a 4.7 inch display with
a 1280 x 720 resolution, which is great for a device in this segment. It comes with 8 GB of inbuilt memory which can
be expanded to 32 GB with the help of MicroSD card. Xolo Play T1000 features a
Li-Ion battery with a power of 2000 mAh. Such a battery will help this device in
attaining a long battery life, both in standby as well as normal usage mode. In
terms of messaging, the smartphone is loaded with e-mail as well as MMS
messaging features but it lacks push mail messaging feature.
The
4 megapixels camera of the Xolo Play T1000 is also loaded with some additional
features such as Autofocus and Digital Zoom. The video recording on this device
can be done in 3GP, H.264, H.263, MPEG4 and many other formats. The smartphone comes with amazing visuals
with an IPS LCD screen that delivers great colors.
It comes with connectivity through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi,
3G, EDGE and GPRS. The Wi-Fi connectivity comes with 802.11 b/g/n. However, it lacks
A2DP and infrared connectivity which may disappoint users a bit. On the entertainment
front, Lava XOLO Play T1000 is packaged with plenty of social networking
applications and quality media players. To further enhance the fun for users,
the Smartphone comes with loudspeaker and Google Play store in order to enjoy
the music.

v 4.1 and quad-core 1.5 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor which delivers when it
comes to gaming. Also, its 1 GB RAM allows user to do lot of multitasking. XOLO
Play T1000 is a 3G Smartphone which houses HSDPA of up to 7.2 Mbps. The only
thing which will disappoint customers about Lava XOLO Play T1000 is it lacks a dual
SIM feature. However, those who prefer to remain connected on single network
will be fine with its existing capabilities.

Play T1000 operates at different frequencies such as GSM 1900/ 1800/ 900/ 850 /
UMTS 2100 MHz. The primary camera is
8 megapixels, which is quite good considering the price which this device is
available for. XOLO Play T1000 also comes with 2 megapixel secondary camera
which is ideal for video chatting. The video recording is done at a 1920 x 1080
resolution, while images are at 3264 x 2448.
The Xolo Play T1000 price in India should be around INR 15,999. What makes this device truly unique is that
it is first smartphone in India which is based on Tegra 3 technology, and this should give us an estimate as to how Nvidia's offering fares against the rest. The T1000 will
be the most reasonable Tegra 3 mobile available currently.
